I genuinely believe that Zazie Beetz’s presence instantly elevates any film—and They Will Kill You is no exception. She’s like a talisman, a quality seal. If her name’s in the credits? Yeah, it’s worth your time.
See, Zazie is the complete opposite of Chris Hemsworth. Look at his filmography outside the MCU—pretty much everything flopped. I knew Furiosa would bomb before it even came out. Don’t get me wrong, I like Chris! It’s just… a pattern.

But let’s get back to the plot. Our beloved Zazie shows up at the Virgil Hotel as a housekeeper, where she has to fight a secret cult and demonic entities… in nothing but lingerie. You can’t defeat evil any other way. She’ll have to take down every single idol-worshipper, one by one. And honestly? Way more fun than scrubbing hallways. Otherwise, sooner or later… they will kill you.

By the way, I even follow Zazie on that one famous social network (you know, the one we can’t name or the site gets blocked). I remember when she posted those sweet pics with her dad—turns out he’s a young white German guy who looks like an eternal hippie-punk, so Zazie never stood a chance: she had to be cool.
