Description
Blind Beast is one of the strangest, most provocative, and visually incredible psychological horror films in the history of Japanese cinema. It still shocks and mesmerizes cinephiles to this day.
At an exhibition, a blind sculptor tactually examines an exact replica of a famous model’s body and becomes obsessed with her. With the help of his own mother, he kidnaps the original (the living girl) and locks her in his studio. The blind beast begins to relentlessly sculpt the parts of her body.
The film is based on a story by the cult writer Edogawa Rampo.
