Description

Undertone — A paranormal podcast host moves in with her dying mother and begins receiving mysterious audio recordings that gradually drive her insane.

This is an intimate, slowly building story about how sound can become the most terrifying weapon of horror. All the dread is conveyed through sound design.

Nina Kiri (from the acclaimed series The Handmaid’s Tale) is the only actress on screen throughout the entire film. All other characters exist solely off-screen: over the phone, in text chats, or as ghostly voices from the past.
