Description
Caveat — how often do we actually heed it?
The protagonist agrees to babysit his acquaintance’s niece. Just for a few evenings, and the pay is good.
But there’s a catch: since the niece is pathologically afraid of someone entering her room, the guy has to wear a chain that restricts his movement around the house.
Oh, and the house is on an island.
