In a remote Polish village lives a girl named Nawojka. Her entire conscious life, she battles dark forces and inner demons that, she believes, stem from an ancient family curse.
Suddenly, Sandra arrives in the village — a woman who seems sent to bring light into Nawojka’s life. Or perhaps this is the work of dark forces? Is Sandra’s arrival the beginning of the end — and Nawojka’s doom?
