Description

Slanted is a social drama with body horror elements that sharply critiques the beauty standards imposed by society, corporations, and marketing.

Joan, a high schooler of Chinese descent, is obsessed with becoming prom queen, believing it will bring her universal acceptance. To achieve this, she undergoes an experimental plastic surgery designed to replace her Asian appearance with a European facial type.
