Description

Spring is love at first watch. Both in the film, and for me.
I won’t list all the charms of this movie. Simply because I don’t remember them. And that’s a good thing. Because I watched it over ten years ago. And now, when I watch it again, Spring will storm back into my icy cabin once more.

I remember the impression it left on me. Maybe it was a special time in my life, maybe the film is just that incredible, or maybe it’s both.
Thanks to this film, I discovered the work of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Now that they’re making Marvel projects alongside their indie films, the whole world knows who they are.

I’d seen Lou Taylor Pucci in other films before, but here he shone in a completely new light.
I first saw Nadia Hilker in Spring, and for a while, I just fell in love with her. Unfortunately, she never became a major movie star, but I was pleasantly surprised to spot her in one of the later seasons of The Walking Dead.

I highly recommend letting Spring into your heart if you love deep, one-of-a-kind films. It’s one of the rare movies where the romance is actually a joy to watch. And the main thing is—you believe in it, experiencing the story right alongside the characters. Despite the sci-fi premise, it feels so much more real than those bland commercial romances that preach something called “love”—and that “something” has nothing to do with actual life.

Spring is love!
