The Dark Hour

I watched The Dark Hour probably twenty years ago, and it made such a strong impression that it immediately became one of my favorite films.
I haven’t rewatched it since. But all these years, I periodically think about it. And for the second decade now, I’ve been looking for the right moment to watch it again.

Part of the problem is that I couldn’t find The Dark Hour in decent quality. I’d even settle for 1280×720, because watching a film in 720×480 on a large screen is something I wouldn’t wish on my enemy.
I don’t know if this Spanish horror film will pass the test of time. You know, when you watch a film you once loved after many years, and it turns out it’s not as cool as before. Times change, people change, perception changes.

I don’t even want to think about The Dark Hour failing the test of time. I know it will pass. I just know.
From what I remember, it’s a cool, claustrophobic horror film with a very unexpected ending that blew my mind back in the day.
